From Slavery to Freedom,
from Darkness to Light

The artists have conveyed the exodus from Egypt as interconnected to the millenia of Jewish history.

Throughout, the scenes depicted on the seder tray seem to be historically inaccurate juxtapositions. The depiction of the Jews leaving Egypt includes a Russian Jew, with a valise in hand and a child on his shoulders, who are shown among the freed slaves and ancient pyramids.
